Alexander Technique

In addition to its general importance in health prevention and personal development, the F.M. Alexander Technique is a basic technique for singers and instrumentalists. In her lessons, Uschi Hartberger deals with the conscious use of one's own body in connection with the instrument or voice in theory and practice on the instrument. She pays particular attention to the individual needs, questions and concerns of the students. Bodywork as self-awareness and as training for later professional practice is an essential part of music studies. This includes the following topics in particular:

  • the flow of movement for a free tone and free music-making
  • Recognizing, preventing or eliminating incorrect posture on the instrument
  • mental training and preparation for performances and auditions
  • Preventing or avoiding posture-related pain
  • Dissolve stage fright and other blockages
  • elementary basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and their importance and implementation when making music
